Magazine Artwork
Made for a curated section of Arts Illustrated magazine, where they wanted contemporary artists’ to interpret femininity.
The artwork collages bindis, with vector illustration. Bindis are traditionally worn by eastern women in the middle of the forehead and are believed to represent the third eye. They are a symbol for perceptiveness and self-awareness, which are both strong feminine traits. These traits have been explicitly seen in women from ancient history to every modern woman.
